How to remain positive through your difficult season.

SILVER LINING

Every cloud has a silver lining… Yes, even yours. The silver lining to your cloud is growth! Every situation gives us the opportunity to learn, gain experience and grow no matter how bad the circumstances may be.

WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG?

I am reminded of a man named Job. He had everything going for him. A large family, friends, property, assets and money. However, in a blink of an eye…he lost it all.

…it got worse….he got cancer

His 10 children, servants, and livestock had all died. When he thought things couldn’t get any worse, it got worse….cancer set in the whole of his body.

In Job’s dyer situation, he started complaining and concentrating on the ‘whys’.

Why is this happening to me?

What have I done to deserve this? Why me?

If we are honest, we often take this route of complaint when things don’t work out. All of our focus and energy is geared into complaining and trying to figure out why something is happening or has happened.

Complaining is draining,

Complaining only takes away energy from today,

& never solves the problems for tomorrow.

TAKE ANOTHER ROUTE

Instead of taking the route of complaining, ask yourself these questions:

· What can I learn from this situation?

· How can it help build my character?

· What is the silver lining to this situation?

The moment that Job stop complaining, he started to learn…

The moment that Job stop complaining, he started to learn the life lessons intended, develop his character and relationship in God.

All seemed at lost, for a season…

All seemed at loss for a season, but God had a much better plan for Job’s life. Although Job had suffered loss, God was preparing to replenish what he had loss and give him double for his trouble!

So keep your head up and grow through, what you go through! Go and get your silver lining to your current cloud.

…life is split into seasons, its unnatural for it to be winter all year long…

And just remember that life is split into seasons, it’s unnatural for it to be winter all year long. Therefore, your season of dark clouds will end.

So, in the meantime hold on, grab hold of your silver lining and grow into a developed and refined you!

Grow through, what you go through!
